It Provides complete flexibility in simulation of a real life weathering conditions. The salt spray tester is designed as per standards which includes ASTM B117,ISO:9227,JIS:2371.

All models of the salt spray tester are equipped with Air purging,Air Regulator,Time totalizer,Cyclic timer,Gauges and Specimen racks.

1. SCOPE :- Apparatus suitable to salt spray (fog) testing of ferrous and non ferrous metals and also used to test inorganic and organic especially. Hence where such tests are the basis for material or products specifications.
2. APPARATUS :- The apparatus required for salt spray (fog) testing consist of “Fog Chamber” . It Also Called Salt solution chamber, Air Supply System, one or more atomizing nozzle, specimen supports, heaters for heating salt solution and necessary means of control.
3. Saline Solution :- The Solution Used for Salt Spray Test should approx. Saline Solution of 5% vv. Approx, Specimen should Hang in way that no droplet should accumulated on it.

1. Temperature Controller :- To Control temperature of Humidity / Chamber for heating of fogged water, with Auto Cut system to maintain temperature with in specified range 32 to 37 degree Celsius.
2. Saline Concentration Meter:- this Meter examine Concentration of Dissolved salt in saline Solution, we may set tank capacity in this meter. Display will show how much quantity to be added more or extra in solution from 5% vv.
3. Humidity and Temperature Indictor :- To Observe temperature and Humidity inside of salt spray Chamber. Thus  The exposure zone of salt spray chamber shall be maintain at 35 +/_ 2 degree C while Humidity should be more than 90%.
4. Hour Meter :- To observe / inspect condition of test samples periodically and recording long with time  At least 3 digits in Hour and 2 digits in minutes
5. pH Meter :- To check ph Value of solution using for spray. The pH value of salt solution shall be such that when atomized at 35 degree C the collected solution will be in the pH range from 6.5 to 7.2.
6. AIR SUPPLY :- The air supply must be free from Oil, Dust, , the air supply / pressure must be maintain in such a way so that salt fog occurs, Pressure must be 1 Kg +/- 0.2 Kg
7. ATOMIZATION AND QUANTITY OF FOG :- The fog shall be such that for each 80 cm2 (4 Inch Funnel ) of horizontal collecting area there will be collected from 1.0 to 2.0 mL of solution per hour based on an average run of at least 16 h
